Hazemag Blow Bars

Replacement bars for Hazemag impactors, cast in the alloy that matches your feed rather than a single default grade.

Overview

About hazemag blow bars

Hazemag impactors are widely used on limestone and aggregate duty, and the blow bar profile has to seat exactly for the rotor to run true. Melco produces replacement bars for the common APK, APS and APSE families, working from drawings, a sample bar or a scan of a worn part.

We cast the same profile in high chrome, martensitic steel and austenitic manganese steel. Which one you should run depends on the feed: high chrome for clean abrasive rock, manganese where tramp metal appears, martensitic where the duty sits between the two.

Mounting faces and overall length are checked against the drawing before dispatch, because a bar that is correct in hardness but wrong on the seat will hammer the rotor rather than the rock.

Applications

  • Hazemag APK, APS and APSE impact crushers
  • Limestone crushing for cement production
  • Aggregate and road base production
  • Primary and secondary impact crushing circuits
Features

What you get

Profile matched to the rotor

Mounting faces and length verified against drawing or sample so the bar seats correctly and runs balanced.

Three alloy families available

The same bar in high chrome, martensitic or manganese steel, so the alloy follows the feed.

Supplied in matched sets

Bars are poured and weighed as a set to keep the rotor in balance across a change-out.

Reverse engineering from worn parts

No drawing needed. We recover the original geometry from the unworn mounting surfaces.

Questions

Hazemag Blow Bars: common questions

Which Hazemag crushers do your blow bars fit?

We regularly supply bars for the APK, APS and APSE impactor families. If you can send the machine model and either a drawing or a worn bar, we will confirm the fit before quoting.

Do I have to replace all blow bars at once?

Yes, as a set. Mixing new and part-worn bars puts the rotor out of balance, which accelerates bearing wear and can crack the rotor body. We supply weight-matched sets for this reason.

Can you supply bars without an OEM drawing?

Yes. A worn bar is usually enough. The mounting faces do not wear, so we can recover the original section and rebuild the wear profile from them.

Are these genuine Hazemag parts?

No. Melco Castings is an independent foundry and these are replacement wear parts made to fit Hazemag machines. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Hazemag, and we use the machine name only to identify the fitment.
