Cast to drawing or sample
A worn bar is enough to start. The mounting faces give us the original geometry.
Replacement bars for SBM impactors, cast to drawing or reverse-engineered from a worn sample.
Melco produces replacement blow bars for SBM impact crushers used across European and Middle Eastern aggregate operations. The bars are cast to the customer drawing where one is available, and reverse-engineered from a worn sample where it is not.
The alloy is chosen with the customer rather than defaulted. Clean abrasive quarry rock generally points to high chrome; mixed or recycled feed with tramp metal points to manganese or a martensitic grade.
Bars are supplied in weight-matched sets with chemical and hardness certificates for the heat.

We discuss the feed and duty before recommending a grade rather than shipping a single default.
Spectrometer analysis and hardness results supplied as standard.
Palletised, strapped and marked for sea freight without repacking.
Applies to sbm blow bars produced at our works. Castings outside this range can usually be accommodated, so please ask.

| ASTM A532 Cl. II Type B (15Cr-3Mo) | 14–18% Cr, 2.5–3.5% Mo, 2.4–3.0% C | 58–64 HRC | General high-abrasion impact crushing |
| ASTM A532 Cl. II Type D (20Cr-Mo) | 18–23% Cr, 1.5% Mo max, 2.0–3.3% C | 58–63 HRC | Abrasive limestone and secondary duty |
| Low-alloy martensitic steel | 0.3–0.5% C, Cr-Ni-Mo alloyed | 45–52 HRC | Mixed impact and abrasion |

Composition ranges are quoted against the published standard. Actual analysis for your heat is issued with the castings.
Yes. Send a worn bar and we will recover the mounting geometry from the unworn faces, rebuild the wear profile and confirm the drawing with you before cutting a pattern.
For clean, abrasive limestone with limited tramp metal, high chrome in the 15Cr-3Mo or 20Cr-Mo range generally gives the best tonnes per set. If the pit produces occasional uncrushables, a martensitic grade is the safer compromise.
Yes. Impact plates and aprons are cast in the same alloy families. Replacing bars while running badly worn aprons wastes bar life, so the two are usually planned together.
Tell us the machine, the feed and the quantity. If you have a drawing or photographs of the worn part, mention it and we will send an upload link.
